besides that
i have a solar collector to DESIGN and CONSTRUCT
for my engineering class. it's due ONE AND A HALF months from now

i think i've gotten used to
the FOUR degree mornings
and MINUS ONE degree nights

will i be prepared for FOUR months of winter?
will i be prepared for MINUS THIRTY weather?

i'll be missing christmas with my loved ones
for FIVE years

i'll also be missing
FIVE YEARS of mum's birthday
FIVE YEARS of dad's birthday
FIVE YEARS of joel's birthday
FIVE YEARS of hannah's birthday

and FIVE YEARS of ang-pow-less CHINESE NEW YEAR
guess I'll be tong-tong-tong-chang-ing by myself
